Get used to seeing Notre Dame on University of Louisville football schedules.
The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced three additional football meetings between the Cardinals and the Irish, in addition to this season’s meeting Nov. 22 at South Bend.
Louisville will host Notre Dame on Sept. 2, 2019, at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, at Notre Dame in 2020 and in Louisville in 2023. The games are part of an agreement between the Conference and Notre Dame to play five ACC teams each year in football.
Five years out for the first one here, plenty of time to expand Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
