Keith Kelsey, a talented linebacker from Gainesville, is going to be a popular football player at the University of Louisville.

He made his college pick Monday, first eliminating South Florida and picking up a Kentucky hat, placing it on his head before quickly pulling it off and tossing the UK hat to the floor. Then grabbing a Louisville hat.

“Psyche, I’m a Louisville Cardinal, baby,” he declares. “Go Cards.”

Pain for somebody, joy for the good guys.

Kelsey finished his junior season with 164 tackles, four interceptions, and two fumble recoveries.

Love him already.

  1. Not really a comment about this article-but football related

I am surprised to not see any mention of David Akers playing in the Super Bowl- his dad Jon works down the hall from me-saying this may be his last game- even better he mentioned he would like to stay involved in football. Of course we know David is from Lex., but did not get recruited by the cats.
