More than a few fans lobbied for a Black Out in the days leading up to the University of Louisville-Cincinnati football game last week.

That was never going to happen. The team doesn’t have any black uniforms this season.

The last time UofL donned all black uniforms was in a 17-10 loss against West Virginia during the 2010 season, and that was enough for Coach Charlie Strong who prefers the red and white.

The Cardinals are expected to be in red uniforms with white helmets Saturday against Temple.
