Another DeVante coming soon at wide receiver.
DeVante Peete, a highly-rated 6-foot-6 prospect from St. Aquinas High School in the Miami area, announced Monday via Twitter that he’s committing to play his college football at the University of Louisville.
Peete has reportedly been on the radar of several top programs, including Ohio State, Florida, Miami and Clemson. In the end, his decision came down to UofL and Florida State.
St. Aquinas, which was among the top 20 ranked high school teams, finished with a 14-1 record and won its eighth state championship and fifth since 2007. Coach Rocco Casullo has said Peete is one of the most physically gifted players he’s ever coached.
