Chris Philpott, of the University of Louisville, has been named Big East Special Teams Player of the Week after making four field goals in four attempts in the UofL football team’s 26-0 win over UConn. Philpott made good from 24, 26, 29 and 39 yards, tying Art Carmody and Nate Smith for most field goals in a single game.

He has made 11 of 14 field goal attempts and 25 of 25 extra point attempts this season. He is ranked third in the Big East in scoring with 58 points. (Photo by Menefee Seay.)
