Marquis Haynes, a 6-foot-3 defensive end from Jacksonville, Fla, has committed to play his college football at the University of Louisville.
Haynes picked the Cardinals over West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Clemson, Duke, South Florida and Florida International and confirmed his commitment on Friday evening.
Haynes was a first-team Class 2-A All-State performer as a junior when he recorded 21 sacks for University Christian.
