What they say about Peyton Silva, one of the most sought after high school basketball players in the country, who has made a verbal commitment to play for Rick Pitino and the University of Louisville:

Scout.com: “Shaping up to be one of the top point guards on the West Coast. Athletic and he’ll go up and dunk as he’s a fine leaper. Sinks long trifectas and has a way about him on the court that is calming to others.”

Seattle Post-Intelligencer: “‘His jumping ability kind of blows you away,’ said Craig Murray, director of the Bremerton-based Total Package select program. ‘He’s very fun to watch.’ True, Siva can sky with the best of them. He’s been able to dunk since the seventh grade and routinely uses his spring to make game-changing plays.”

SlamOnLine.com: “Siva is tops on many schools’ wish lists, most notably Kansas, Arizona, and the Washington schools [Washington State and U-Dub] but it’s a good bet that he dons the Cardinal Red of Louisville, as they’ve been pursuing him the most. When asked if that rumor is true, Siva slyly smiles and says, “they’re in it”, noting how strong they already are and will be even stronger when they add St. Benedict’s big man Samardo Samuels in the fall.”

RiseMag.com: “Siva,  a rising point guard at Franklin (Seattle, Wash.), did it all. He handled intense pressure from the T-Mac All-Stars, hit countless big 3-pointers and got into the lane with ease.”
