Shortstop Devin Hairston have never cooled off since that batting slump a couple of seasons ago. Hairston was four for five, scoring twice, batting in three runs. He raised his batting average to .444.
Catcher Colby Fitch, not to be outdone, is batting 438, after connecting for a couple of singles. Leftfielder Drew Ellis, meanwhile, connecting for his second home run of the season.
