Practice began Friday for the University of Louisville baseball team, ranked in pre-season polls from No. 9 to No. 15.
The Cardinals will open the 2015 season in the ClearwateR Tournament against Alabama State (Feb. 13), South Florida (Feb. 14) and Cal State Fullerton (Feb. 15) at Bright House Field. Louisville’s 33-game home slate at Jim Patterson Stadium is set to begin on Feb. 18 against Eastern Kentucky.
UofL will open its 30-game ACC schedule on March 6-8 at Patterson Stadium with a visit from the Miami Hurricanes for a three-game series.
