Bandwagon Time

Who cares if it’s Friday the 13th? The locals finally have a reason to get excited about soccer:

The fifth-ranked University of Louisville soccer team will square off against Notre Dame at 5:30 today in the semifinals of the Big East Tournament at Morgantown, WV.

The game will be telecast live by CBS Sports, channel 531 on Insight Cable. Coach Ken Lolla’s goal is to win the national championship. He’s not given to coach speak, rah-rah talk or idle chatter.

Get on board.

As luck would have it, they lost 3-2 in OT shoot out.

Woops, it was 4-3.  I watched the overtime and the shootout.

  3. Shannon says:

Man, it was a great game, but I can not do the hockey, soccer, or pro baseball very well as a spectator.

Great showing for the program though.
