Freshman Dylan Mares collected his sixth goal of the season, with an assist from Colin Rolfe, to lead the University of Louisville to a 2-0 win over Notre Dame.

Nick DeLeon, a junior, added another goal in the 84th minute to ice the victory.

A crowd of 3,302 fans, third best in U of L soccer annals, saw U of L improve its record to 10-0-2. The win over Notre Dame also removed the sting from a disappointing loss during Big East Tournament play last season.
