A nice job of hanging on tonight after Uconn began to cut away at the lead in the second half. A ton of fouls called, though and Swopshire wasn’t at his best tonight.
Still, it is a win. Not a quality win or win that the NCAA Selection committee will pay much attention to but one that the Cards desperately needed.
It is Feburary and usually the time of the year that UofL teams start to make a run against the rest of the Big East conference. Let’s hope tradition hold to form.
